Current Events

I will give a breif recab of this weeks happenings. We are all adjusting to Lucy and she is getting more comfortable being here. Today however she has decided to thow up mutiple times (including on my new rug!) Mike took her running the first day and on mutiple walks and that night we saw on her paws terrible blisters that were totally sore. We felt terrible and realized she must have never had wood floor and been taken on walks. Connor's birthday was fun he is enjoying his new kitchen and love to serve mom. Mike got a child bike seat carrier for Connor and the boys have been going on long rides together. This city is the Yard Sale capital of the world. Every Saturday I swear every other house is having a sale. We picked up a great deal, a closet organizer with a lot of shelves for hanging clothes, for shoes, and shelves for folded clothes. They sell the pieces at Home Depot and Mike went and picked up some needed items and found out the the $15.00 we paid for all of it was a STEAL. It's probably about 200 worth of stuff. Mike turned a small room into the basement into his own walk in closet. It looks great and now I have all the bedroom closets to myself. We are still waiting for the dining room floor to be finished. Get this, Mike put the first coat of varnish/sealer on it on Friday morning and it's now Sunday and it's STILL not dry!!! I guess he put it on super thick. Mike has one more week before he start so we hope to get a few more day trip in. We are about wrapped up on home project for the time being and are really enjoying the house.
